Shawn serves as the primary contact for the College of Education, including areas such as Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Psychology, Educational Leadership/Administration and Supervision, Human Development and Family Studies, School/Counseling Psychology, etc. Faculty, staff and students doing advanced research in Health programs may want to contact our Health Sciences experts.
Shawn works with faculty and students in these areas to advance their ability to access and use information for their research and study. To do so, he conducts in-class instruction sessions, produces online tools and research guides, conducts one on one research consultations, and manages both print and electronic resources in support of education.
Shawn received his Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario.
Shawn is also a former professional teacher, having been certified to teach math and chemistry at the high school level.
