Mea Warren is the Interim Head of Teaching and Learning at the University of Houston Libraries, where she manages the Teaching and Learning department, leading the department in their role of supporting student success on campus through teaching information literacy concepts through classes and consultations, both in the curricular and co-curricular realm. She previously served as the Assistant Head of Teaching and learning, primarily managing relationships and integrating information literacy concepts into units across campus including the Honors College, CITE Programs, Athletics, and Residential Life.
Mea received her Bachelor's degree from Duke University and her Masters of Library Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, during which she worked at the Environmental Protection Agency in Research Triangle Park. Before becoming the Interim Head of Teaching and Learning, she was the Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning, and previously the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Librarian.
