
Mea Warren is the Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning at the University of Houston Libraries, where she manages the Student Success Team within Teaching and Learning department, leading initiatives in supporting information literacy beyond the classroom, including the support of the libraries Peer Mentor Program. Her work managing relationships and integrating information literacy concepts into units across campus includes work with the Honors College, Writing Center, Athletics, and Residential Life.
Mea received her Bachelor's degree from Duke University and her Masters of Library Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, during which she worked at the Environmental Protection Agency in Research Triangle Park. She has previously served as the Interim Head of Teaching and Learning, and the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Librarian.
