Imani Spence comes to UH from Baltimore, Maryland where she lived most of her life. A graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), and the University of Maryland, College Park, she learned to appreciate public universities early. While in Baltimore, she was a radio producer, an arts and culture reporter and a social media manager at a nonprofit. Now, as a librarian, she's interested in media literacy, graduate student success and encouraging creatives to use library resources.
