About

Cherie Turner is the Instruction, Assessment, and Engineering Liaison and Interim Coordinator of Instruction in Liaison Services. She is the librarian for the areas of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. As the Instruction, Assessment, & Engineering Liaison she provides information literacy instruction, and manages and assesses the data that the library collects on instruction. As the Interim Coordinator of Instruction she works with a team of librarians to provide face-to-face and online instruction across all disciplines. She also works closely with faculty in her liaison areas to conduct course-based information sessions, schedule research consultations, and manage the electronic and print collections. Her research interests include information skills for STEM students, and data and assessment.

Background

Cherie received her Master of Library Science from the University of Missouri. She has a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology).
