Ariana Santiago is the Instruction Librarian at the University of Houston Libraries. She collaborates on design, teaching, and assessment of library instruction curricula for several undergraduate courses, including the library instruction program supporting Freshman Composition classes. Her research interests include information literacy, teaching and learning for undergraduate student success, and diversity in libraries.
Ariana earned a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida. She is currently completing coursework towards a Master of Arts in Applied Learning and Instruction from the University of Central Florida. Before joining UH, she was an undergraduate instruction and outreach librarian at the University of Iowa.
