Lisa Martin is the Coordinator of Outreach for Liaison Services as well as librarian for the areas of Hospitality, Human Development and Consumer Sciences, & Management. As Coordinator of Outreach, she works with a team of librarians who focus on external marketing, internal messaging, and general relationship building with the goal of increasing awareness of library services across campus and in the community. She also works closely with faculty in her liaison areas to conduct course-based information sessions, schedule research consultations, and manage the electronic and print collections. Her research interests include equitable access in library instruction, effective outreach efforts, and the post-graduation information skills of business students.
Lisa received her Master of Library and Information Science from the University of California at Los Angeles. Her bachelors degrees were received from the University of Redlands. Lisa has worked as a business specialist for the last nine years. Institutions where she previously worked include the University of North Dakota and National University.
