In her role as Library Supervisor of the Special Collections department, Julia assesses the processing needs of departmental collections in order to curate unique, individualized archival projects for student assistants.

Background

Julia is a formally trained archivist and special collections librarian with over six years of experience in library and museum collections. In 2024, Julia earned her master's degree in Library Science and Archival Studies from the ALA-accredited University of North Texas. During her time at UNT, Julia received supplementary certification in archival management. Julia is also an alumni of Stephen F. Austin State University, where she earned her baccalaureate in English Language and Literature with a minor in linguistic studies.
